To receive the discounted rate of $249 CAD per night you must indicate you are attending the 2010 Plastic Pipes XV Conference and make your reservation by the cut-off date of Thursday, August 19, 2010 by 5:00 p.m. Vancouver, BC Time (PST). If you do not make your reservation by this date there is no guarantee that you will get a room at the discounted rate. Reservations must be cancelled by 4:00 p.m.(PST) the DAY before your arrival day to receive a full refund.

The special conference rate is good for three days before and three days after the meeting dates of Saturday, September 18, 2010 – Friday, September 24, 2010. (ACTUAL CONFERENCE September 20-22, 2010)

Early Departure Fee

In the event that a guest who has reserved a guest room checks out prior to the reserved checkout date, an early departure fee of 50% of the daily rate will be charged to that guest’s individual account. In order to avoid this fee you MUST advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in your scheduled length of stay.

Transportation

To The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR) Head west on Grant McConachie Way for approximately 4 km then make a slight right at SW Marine Drive. Continue on Granville Street for almost 8 km making a slight right at Seymour St. North. Turn left on to W Georgia St. and then turn right at Cardero Street. The Westin Bayshore is on the left.

The Westin Bayshore does not provide shuttle service to/from the hotel so attendees will need to think about taking a taxi or renting a car. The Westin Bayshore is about 30 minutes from the airport. A taxi to downtown Vancouver will cost approximately $27 CAD one-way.

Alternate transportation methods to The Westin Bayshore

The Canada Line connects the YVR-Airport station with the Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver, BC. PLEASE NOTE: The Waterfront Station located at 601 W. Cordova St. is just over a mile from The Westin Bayshore. If you do not want to walk this distance then you will need to catch a taxi for the five-minute ride to the Westin.
